Fully qualified driving instructors display a green badge on their windscreen, signifying they have passed all three instructor examinations. At periodic intervals, the instructor is required to undergo re-examination to keep their teaching certificate. The DSA oversees re-examination and assigns grades according to the instructors performance. The grades range from 1 to 6, with only around 2% of instructors certified with a 6. Most of our instructors are grade 5.
