Full Driving Licence

After passing the practical test, you can apply for a full UK drivers licence. To apply for a full driving licence you will need a drivers licence application form (D100), which are available from your local post office. You will need to send a copy of your practical pass certificate. It is best to send a photocopy in case your application gets lost in the post. It is recommended that you apply for your full licence as soon as you can. Leaving it too long will mean that you have to take the theory and the practical test again.

Once you have passed the practical test, you are able to drive without supervision, even if you do not have your full licence. However, you should carry a copy of your pass certificate when driving. So if you are stopped by the police you can show them you are legally allowed to drive.
