Below is a breakdown of three typical intensive course plans:
10-hour intensive driving course

20-hour intensive driving course
Monday to Friday 0900-1100 and 1300-1500 every day
30-hour intensive driving course
Monday to Friday; 0800-1000; 1200-1400 and 1600-1800 every day
However, we can arrange lessons to fit whatever schedule suits you. Call free on 0800 080 5410 for more information.
There are also two ways of arranging these courses to take into account the waiting times for practical test:
Intensive Course Type A:
We book a driving test for you and then plan the course over the preceding five days.
This plan can have the following disadvantages:
- You may have to wait 6-8 weeks before a driving test can be allocated thus delaying the start of your driver training
- If you, or your instructor, is ill for one day, then you have lost 20% of your course with no time to make up for it during the rest of that week
Intensive Course Type B:
We feel this is the best of the week intensive driving courses options. You book the driving course at times to suit you. Take as many lessons as it requires for you to reach the driving test standard and then go for a cancellation driving test date. That can sometimes be the SAME DAY that you phone!
The main advantages over this option compared with option A are:
- You can start these courses earlier as we don’t have to wait for the driving test date
- You only pay for the lessons you need. So if you book 30 hours but we get you a cancellation test and you pass after 25 hours then you don’t pay for the remaining 5 hours
These courses do work, but they need to be professionally arranged to suit the pupil’s previous driving experience. These courses will NOT suit somebody who has less than 5 hours driver training.
