Most large towns and cities will have their own driving test centre (commonly abbreviated to DTC). If your town does not have a driving test centre, ask your instructor which test centre they would recommend using. The Driving Standards Agency is currently upgrading the driving test centres to be multi-purpose. So motorbike, car and even LGV tests can all be conducted from the same centre.
