• We only use grade 4 or above qualified instructors who are based in your area. This means you will need fewer lessons thus saving you money. We never use trainee instructors
• As the instructors are local to you, they will know all the test routes and usually have a good working relationship with the local driving test centres
• We always quote you per hour. A lot of schools try to appear cheaper by quoting per lesson but their lessons are only for 45 minutes. A £15 lesson may appear cheaper than an hourly lesson for £20 but, in fact, they are the same price
• We don’t charge extra for afternoon, evening or weekend lessons
• We don’t charge extra on the day of the driving test
• We can get you up to 25% off your first car insurance
• Because of our vast database of instructors we can usually supply an instructor in the car of your choice
• Again because of the number of ADIs who work with DSBS, if you do not get on with your instructor or if you do not like the car, then we can organise your lessons with another instructor
• Everybody at DSBS who deals with enquiries is a driving instructor; we will be able to answer all your questions openly and honestly
• If you spend the entire day making phone calls to lots of instructors, you will still be none the wiser as to who the best driving instructors are. Through our experience, we know which instructors to use because of their reputation. Their good reputation reflects upon us so it is in our interest to get you the best possible instructor
• If you go to a one-person driving school and for whatever reason want to change instructor or car you have to start the searching process all over again. With DSBS, make one more phone call and another instructor will be organised for you
• After you have passed your driving test and you are looking for your first car, then for the price of a driving lesson, we can arrange for some of our instructors to allow you to try out different cars before you go ahead and buy one. We are the only national school that offers this service.
• Even after you have passed your test we will be on hand to give any advice and can help you get cheaper car insurance
• We can arrange basic mechanical lessons
